Mid in the Unesco World Heritage Site between Asti, Alba and Acqui Terme, the ancient wine village of Castelnuovo Calcea is located high up with its original and historic center with its „castello“. The towns of Nizza Monferrato and Canelli (each about 10,000 inhabitants) are only nine kilometers in distance.
